The following Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings made on Mirra Homestay either through the web site or through direct contact. Please take a moment to read them before you make a booking request.
In these 'Terms and Conditions' the following definitions apply:
"Booking" means the booking for accommodation, functions and/or any other value-added
services or items made with us.
"Contract" means the Booking and these Terms, and any other terms and conditions stated to apply to the Booking.
"Homestay" or "House" or "Villa" or "this facility" means the premises for which your Booking is made.
"Terms" means these terms and conditions.
All Bookings at the Mirra Homestay are subject to these Terms.
At the time of booking or at check-in, we will take a photo copy of your identify card or passport. We shall also have the right to require full payment in advance or a deposit at the time of booking. No Booking shall be treated as confirmed until the details and/or payment/deposit described as per our tariff structure have been provided.
Prices shall be charged in Indian Rupees (INR) and any currency conversion facility is provided as an approximation tool only,Price for additional items, such as meals required by the guest may be charged at the actual rates.
4. Check-in/ Check-out
In the interests of security and to prevent fraud, at the time of check-in, guests may be required to confirm their identity by providing their booking reference and their passport/identity card/driving license. These records will be kept for at least 12 months and may be disclosed or made available for inspection by any police officer or as otherwise required by applicable law in connection with the prevention or investigation of crime. The information above may be requested for each member of your party and we reserve the right to refuse entry to persons who cannot provide the information set out above.

We require at least 50% prepayment for the entire stay at the time of the booking and this is non- refundable. Please read the Payment Terms appended below. Also this booking will be non- changeable. Cancellation or non-arrival will result in the forfeiture of the prepayment as per the cancellation policy appended in the site.
6. Changes or Cancellation by the Company
Due to any unforeseen circumstances if we may need to cancel your Booking you will be given a full refund within a reasonable period of time, but we shall have no further liability to you arising out of such cancellation. We will, however, use reasonable endeavors to try and re-locate any confirmed booking cancelled by us to an alternative location similar to our standards
We reserve the right and you hereby authorize us to charge for any damage incurred to your room or the Mirra Homestay premises during your stay (including without limitation specialist cleaning) or for any items that may be missing when you leave the room
Guests staying in Mirra Homestay can use all the facilities for their leisure throughout the duration of their stay. Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult at all times. At certain times, facilities may become unavailable due to maintenance, adverse weather conditions or other reasons beyond our control. However, all effort will be made to restore normalcy after any calamity/disorder and guests are requested to bear with us till such time.
Guest can make use of the open non-covered car parking area outside the house free of charges if such space is available during their stay. Cars are left at the owner's/customer's own risk. We do not accept responsibility for their loss or damage
10. Guest Behaviour
Guests are requested to conduct themselves appropriately at all times. They should o comply with Mirra Homestay procedures and/or requests with regard to conduct and respect for the property, staff, family members and guests and their health and safety. Guests are requested not to disrupt the comfort and enjoyment of the other members of the family. We reserve the right to refuse accommodation or services or remove you and members of your party from the premise if, in our reasonable opinion, we consider this provision to have been breached. Where this is the case shall have no obligation to refund you for lost accommodation, other services or any other loss or expense incurred.
11. No Smoking
Guests are not permitted to smoke in rooms or public areas.
All children (a person under 16 years of age) staying at the Mirra Homestay must be accompanied by an adult and must be supervised by an adult at all times. Cots and extra beds are available in most of our properties. However, these are limited and subject to availability. Please check at the time of booking.
No pets are allowed at the premises.
14. Force Majeure
We accept no liability and will not pay any compensation where the performance of our obligations towards the guests residing at Mirra Homestay is prevented or affected directly or indirectly by or as a result of force majeure or any circumstances beyond our reasonable control including, but not limited to, flood, earthquake, extreme adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, other acts of God, acts of terrorism, fire or failure of electric power, gas, water, or other utility service, plant machinery, computers, vehicles or any collapse of building structures.
15. Limitation of Liability
We will not be responsible for the loss or damage of any property left at the Mirra Homestaypremises/facility. Nothing contained in the Contract or in any other document referred to or incorporated in it shall be read or construed as excluding any liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
The Contract and any non-contractual obligations arising in connection with it are governed by Indian law.The Indian courts have exclusive jurisdiction to determine any dispute arising in connection with the Contract, including disputes relating to any non-contractual obligations.
17. Web Site Information
While all reasonable efforts have been taken to ensure the accuracy of information on the website, the Company does not accept responsibility for errors or omissions and reserve the right to amend, cancel or vary any of the arrangements featured on the Websites without notice. Please note that in certain circumstances, generic photographic images have been used to represent the general style of a particular product or facility.

VERBAL COMMUNICATION FOR CANCELLATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. ONLY WRITTEN COMMUNICATIONS IS ACCEPTABLE
Cancellation Policy of Rooms:
(a) If written intimation/email of cancellation is received at least 30 clear days or more in advance from the date of check-in, then 30% of total bill amount will be charged as cancellation fees
(b) If written intimation/email of cancellation is received within a period of 29 clear days and 7 clear days of the date of check-in, then 50% of the total bill amount will be charged as cancellation fees.
(c) No refund is allowed if written intimation/email of cancellation is received within 6 clear days of the date of date of check-in, i.e. the entire amount received by way of advance or otherwise would be forfeited.
(a) If the WALK ALONG tour or any other service cannot be provided due to Force Majeure or Vis Majeure, Mirra Homestay shall not be responsible to give any refund to you.
(b) It would take at least 45 days to process the refund (if due).
(c) It is clearly understood that there shall be no refund whatsoever if the guest does not or cannot utilize any of the services like stay, walking tours, sightseeing, saree draping, Bengali cooking classes, , meals,, etc. due to any reason whatsoever.
(d) Refund of advance, if any, will be paid by cheque/online transfer and by no other mode of payment.
(e) Mirra Homestay will NOT REFUND ANY AMOUNT for ANY CANCELLATION OF TOUR ARISING as a result of any epidemic, civil disturbances, theft, accidents, natural calamities like flood, landslide, earthquakes and other such incidents beyond the control of India Beacons Sojourn. OUR CANCELLATION POLICY WOULD BE STRICTLY FOLLOWED IN THESE CIRCUMSTANCES.
For Room Booking: 50% payment is to be made to confirm a booking.
For Package Tour Booking:
Advance and Final Payment: 50% advance is to be paid to confirm a booking. Balance 50% is to be paid at least 30 days before date of departure.
However, if the date of booking is within 7 days of the date of commencement of stay (check-in date), 100% of the package cost is to be paid at the time of booking.
We reserve the right to cancel the package in the event of non-receipt of final payment within the mentioned timeline without assigning any reason or sending you any further communication.
